• Sacraments

We believe that the ritual of consecration, where the use of the sacramental drink takes place, carries within itself a universal message of Wholeness, Nothingness, and Allness–the components of Enlightenment. We believe that this is valid for all the peoples of the Earth without prejudice and in light of the equity that the law of religious practice consecrates.

Our experience tells us that the use of sacramental drink within an appropriate spiritual context, far from being a dissociative experience for the mind and detrimental to the health of the individual or of society, is, on the contrary, an activity beneficial for healing, evolution and the expansion of consciousness, and in turn, positive for the purposes of spiritual quest that we aim for.

We believe that each sacrament is given by God for a unique purpose. Flemish mystic, Ruysbroeck, said, “All of Humankind possesses God whole, entire and undivided, and all together not more than one alone.” This aligns with our beliefs and also represents our view of Ceremonia’s sacraments: that each possesses the sacred gift of God whole, entire and undivided, and all together not more than one alone.

We believe that these sacraments each carry their own purpose and unique gift in the pursuit of enlightenment. Each sacrament, if taken for their own merits, provides communion with God; but all, if paired with intentional introspection and self-work, can lead people to the Divine within quicker, deeper, and with less suffering.

  • Psilocybin mushrooms

    Psilocybin Mushrooms

Psilocybin mushrooms are fungi that contain the psychoactive compound psilocybin, a naturally occurring psychedelic capable of producing powerful experiences.

We believe that psilocybin mushrooms are sacraments created by God to provide communion with divinity that exists in all beings. We believe that the substrate of mushrooms, mycelium, is an anthropomorphic example of intelligent design and connection; and the consumption of psilocybin mushrooms provides our members the opportunity for communion with nature and the wisdom of the Earth.

We use psilocybin mushrooms as sacrament in the Awaken journey of our 3-stage Arc of Transformation because we believe they have the essential and unique capacity to develop inner awareness of what is–the opportunities of the present moment to seek deeper within oneself and the miracle of life. We believe that psilocybin mushrooms are uniquely suited to accelerate communion with Wholeness, the quality of enlightenment that represents the complete integration of all parts of one’s self in service of complete acceptance and unconditional love of Self–which is, in a non-dual state, complete unconditional love of all beings.

  • Ayahuasca vine

    Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca is an entheogenic brew or tea made from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaf. P. virdris contains DMT, a powerful psychedelic, and B. caapi contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), notably β-carboline, which work synergistically with DMT to produce a long-lasting psychedelic experience. It is used in traditional ceremonies among the indigenous tribes of Amazonia.

We use Ayahuasca as sacrament in the Heal journey of our 3-stage Arc of Transformation because we believe it has the essential and unique capacity to let go of beliefs and resistance that guide our way of being from the shadows. We believe that the purgatory effect of Ayahuasca–long since part of the sacred, shamanistic tradition of Ayahuasca–is the particular gift from God to allow us to heal wounds that no other medicine or sacrament could before. We believe that Ayahuasca is uniquely suited to accelerate communion with Nothingness, the quality of enlightenment of surrendering all positionalities and identity in service of pure essence.
